Sport Climber
I have had such a fantastic experience working with Kat on mindset and anxiety I was having around belaying. She was calm, easy to talk to, and our sessions gave me what I needed to move forward in my climbing. I'm so glad I reached out and invested in my climbing when I did, and I would recommend Labyrinth coaching to anyone. I look forward to working together again in the future 💜
Parent of Youth Climber
We had one session with Kat, but it made a real difference. She took the time to listen and created a calm, supportive space where our son felt comfortable to talk openly and without judgment. Kat was also very supportive to us as parents, offering sensible advice and reassurance with no judgment at all. Even in one session, her understanding and approach left a lasting positive impact. We will be sure to go back to Kat if further support is needed.
Traditional Climber
I am finding the re-framing to be quietly [and surprisingly] very powerful already. All of a sudden I find myself turning up to the wall and feeling zero pressure - either to climb anything hard or indeed anything at all. Strangely, this hasn’t led to me not getting on anything hard but rather getting on it without feeling like my self worth as a climber is bound up in the next 3-5 mins. That release is allowing me strangely to climb harder also: we’ve talked about how I have struggled to try hard on moves beyond my limit but this has improved. My sense that 1 attempt on a route is enough for me is also shifting.
Its quite a shift, which I am likely not articulating too well, and it is certainly early days but I do feel a pressure lifting.
